Online Courses

Online Chinese evening courses are offered once a week during both the winter semester (October to January) and summer semester (March to June). These courses cover listening, reading, speaking, and writing, providing general Chinese language skills at the respective level. The course takes place via the online platform Zoom. Login details will be sent to all participants by email before the course begins. The course concludes with a final exam. Upon successful completion of the exam and a minimum attendance of 75%, participants receive a certificate worth 4 ECTS credits per course. A certificate of attendance can also be issued upon request.

Course time: 5:45 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.

Course duration: 42 teaching units (14 sessions)

Language of instruction: Chinese; explanations are provided in German or English

Group size: 4–16 participants

Course fee: €380 (excluding textbook and mailing fee)

Discounts: Students at Austrian universities up to age 28 receive a 25% discount (a valid student ID must be presented).

Recipients of financial aid from the University of Vienna receive a 50% discount. 
You receive a 10% discount on your third course and a 12% discount on each subsequent course.

Discounts are not cummulative.
