Conversation Courses

Chinese conversation courses are offered once a week for 14 sessions in the winter semester (October to January) and summer semester (March to June) each. The focus is on listening and speaking at the respective level. The course concludes with an oral exam. Upon successful completion of the exam and a minimum attendance of 75%, participants receive a certificate worth 1 ECTS credit per course. A certificate of participation can be issued in all cases.

Course time: 5:45 pm – 7:15 pm

Course duration: 28 teaching units (14 sessions).

Course language: Chinese; explanations will be given in German or English

Group size: 4-10 participants 

Course fee: €260

Textbook: New Target Spoken Chinese €25

Discounts: Students at Austrian universities up to age 28 receive a 25% discount (a valid student ID must be presented).

Recipients of financial aid from the University of Vienna receive a 50% discount. 
You receive a 10% discount on your third course and a 12% discount on each subsequent course.

Discounts are not cummulative.
