TCM Culture Course
The course systematically covers the fundamental concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) – such as Yin-Yang and the Five Phases, Qi, blood and body fluids, the Zang-Fu organs and meridians, constitutional diagnosis, as well as nutrition and year-round health maintenance – whilst also teaching practical TCM techniques such as acupressure, Tuina massage, Gua Sha, cupping and moxibustion. Participants also practise breathing regulation techniques and simple Qigong exercises, and receive advice on TCM health care tailored to the local climate, dietary habits and urban lifestyle. The course is delivered bilingually (Chinese and German) and is aimed at both laypeople interested in TCM and those with a professional background in medicine, physiotherapy, nursing or other health sciences. No knowledge of Chinese is required for the course, although it is an advantage.
