Reflecting Vienna's cultural diversity, the Confucius Institute at the University of Vienna organizes a wide range of events on the topic of Chinese culture. These events cover a broad spectrum, encompassing music, painting, literature, film, architecture, customs, and lifestyles from China.

Furthermore, the Confucius Institute regularly organizes lectures, symposia, and exhibitions on Chinese politics, economics, law, international relations, and much more. We invite speakers from German-speaking countries as well as from China to give guest lectures.

Concerts with a connection to China are offered regularly, particularly in cooperation with the Mozarthaus Vienna.

Workshops and courses on traditional Chinese topics such as painting, calligraphy, or Chinese medicine and nutrition round off our range of events.

A particularly special project is the documentary TV series "Treffpunkt China-Österreich," which is broadcast on Austrian television (OKTO TV) and on China Radio International. A selected range of topics is explored in both Austria and China.
