Intensive Courses

Our intensive Chinese courses for beginners take place in February and July/August, three times a week for a total of 12 sessions. They cover listening, reading, speaking, and writing, and provide general Chinese language skills at a beginner level. The course concludes with a final exam. Upon successful completion of the exam and a minimum attendance of 75%, participants receive a certificate worth 4 ECTS credits per course. A certificate of attendance can also be issued upon request.

Course time: three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) in the morning (9:30-12:00) or in the evening (17:30 – 20:00)

Course duration: 36 teaching units (12 sessions)

Language of instruction: Chinese; explanations are provided in German or English

Group size: 4–16 participants

Course fee: €350 (excluding textbook)

Discounts: Students at Austrian universities up to age 28 receive a 25% discount (a valid student ID must be presented).

Recipients of financial aid from the University of Vienna receive a 50% discount. 
You receive a 10% discount on your third course and a 12% discount on each subsequent course.

Discounts are not cummulative.
